When i upload images to The Wondering Photographer i generally do it in large numbers. I had created a plugin called Future Date Addon. But its main downfall was ease of use when you already had a number of images. You have to select the images that were upload them and send them to the future.
At the same time i was using a plugin called Copy Folder with Titles and Description. This plugin would read a folder and import all the images but using the EXIF capture dates.
This was no good for me since i want to have the images publish day after day. So i took both addons and and simply merged them together.
Say you upload 10 images, they would be published one day after the other.
If you uploaded 10 images but the next day uploaded 10 more you would end up with duplicate image dates. This plugin is designed to be used only when you are out of published photos.
My friend Dan Barham had recently converted his site to use the new plugin from cooliris called PicLens, available for Mozilla here. It instantly transforms a media RSS file into a 3d wall gallery. It has also got search support for Flickr, Google, and yahoo to name a few.
I have been working on a new photo blog The Wondering Photographer that should be up as soon as i get a good stock of images ready for it. The photo blog is running on Pixelpost. I was looking at the feed code in pixelpost and was able to modify it easy enough, it doesn’t seam like any one has done this yet, at least in my searches i only found questions.
