A lot of people for the first time opening up WordPress can be over come by all of the stuff that there is to a theme. I like many others, one tip I can offer is to open up your header.php footer.php and sidebar.php and insert a php comment or an html comments, making sure not to put and html comment at the top of the header page, it will cause your problems later on down the road.
I just thought that if you were bored that you would probably want to have a look at this, I know I was obsessed with Google Earth, and I came across this http://www.flashearth.com/ created by http://www.neave.com/, it is very neat. It uses the same map servers that Google has, as well as some of the same map features but in a flash format.
The gallery appears to be working fine now, I had to change how it navigated a bit to make it work the proper way. So if anything goes wrong contact me with errors.
Thanks.
Well buy now you have probably noticed that the gallery is all messed up, I’m in the process of upgrading to WPG2 and gallery 2.1. The WPG2 plug-in seams to have some bugs that they are working on. So I hope I can have it fixed as soon as possible.
Thanks.
Tonight will be a full moon and I will be trying my friends 1000mm mirror lenses with my old canon FD conversion with a 2x teleconverter and then the 1000mm lens taped and reinforced with a bamboo sushi mat, and if everything goes right the image will creep out of the top and bottom of the frame. I will have to take a bunch of shots since this lens does not saw what f-Stop it is, I’m assuming its f-8 but again I’m just going to fire through a bunch of film and hopefully something works.
I managed to fill my iPod last morning, and now I have to daunting task to sort through it and delete the unwanted. Itâs a lot of work. On other news I have been searching for the punk version of the âmahna mahna songâ? I think it was by a group called Skin, but I donât remember. If you know please let me know.
Ok, so in Edmonton and some other Canadian cities there is a daily newspaper called DOSE it’s got what’s going on here and there with all the little things you might want to know about. Back to the point, there was an article on urban infiltration, as in people exploring every inch of there city and getting photographs off the beaten path. So that got me looking into other sites. This brings me to Daily Photography by Kendall Anderson. This site is full of fascinating pictures of the forgotten industrial buildings and surroundings of everyday life. Many of them look like people just walked off the job and the buildings were left to there own destruction. It makes me want to go out and search for more buildings, as far as I know this was the only one I could find.
So by now you have probably noticed the shocking news about apple, they are now switching there CPU manufacturing from Motorola to Intel and it appears to be wise move. I was reading a blurb about the move and they mentions how Steve Jobs was getting annoyed with Motorola in there inability to create and efficient CPU for there laptops the solution being a Intel like Centrino® chip. So it is said that by the end of the year all models and lines will be shipping with a spiffy new Intel chip. The MacBook Pro will be the first laptop to ship with and Intel built processor.
Things have been a bit slow; there are some things in the works that might prove to be interesting. I’m working on details for a website proposal and seeing if I can wrangle up the information to make it happen.
I also made a converter that will adapt the old Canon FD lens mounts to Canon EOS. The outcome was unexpected; I lost infinity focus and gained macro. So it seams to work great. I used a 50mm f/1.8 with a 2x converter with a macro filter to get even closer. It seams that every shot has to be on a tripod. But other than that I have the film here and waiting to be developed, I think it will be neat.
