Would You Believe

I was shocked to see that they are making a get smart movie. Steve Carell will be playing the roll of Maxwell Smart and his counterpart Agent 99 will be played by Anne Hathaway. I think i have scene every episode of the original Get Smart. The movie seams to have a good line up.

I really hope they can stay true to the original format and not over play the punch lines. i think its hard for any actor to do a remake of any movie and some times trying to mimic a character can kill a movie. for example Dumb and Dumberer. Get Smart was funny because it was cheracter drivin and if thats messed with the will be the purists who say it wasn’t anything like the original. But if an actor can take the material and put his own personality into it and make it there own then i think most people will not scrutinize the little details it should be a successes.

Spider Man 3

I saw Spider man 3 last night, and i guess i went into it expecting more. It was more of a love story than the action packed movie the trailers led it to be. Venom was one of my favorite characters, and don’t really think i should talk about my disappointment’s yet. at least until more people have had a chance to see it.

Lets just saw that first off i think they rushed Venom. First he’s black spider man the a few days later he rejects it. Ok, that happened in the comics but it took a bit longer and i understand its a movie. but i think introducing Venom at the end or in the next movie would have been a better move. And i seam to remember Spider Man using a space ship to get the symbiote off of him, then sending it to space. Thus returning and mutating splitting to create Carnage.

I’m not sure if was due to the rumors of Sam Raim might not want to do the 4th film. That kind of made me wonder if he rushed the story to add more hype to go out with a bang. Regardless Sony says they are making a 4th film with or with out him.

Super Delux – Box Land

Some how i ended up reading an article on CNN.com and found my self watching a short movie were the characters are boxes. Its move of an old clasic style mob movie were the guy just wont talk, and gets him self beat to shreds… literally.

I would say its a good little watch.

If you look around the site you will also come across a short of “Little Michael Jackson and Me“. I warn you its creepy.

Spider Man 3

So i’m a big fan of spider man, and if my memory serves me rite, since Spider Man now has the back suit that would mean that there was a space ship that came back and crashed with a piece of alien black goo on it. Spider Man then rushed to the scene to save the day. Black goo meets up with spider man and blows his mind.

Once Spider Man realizes he is having trouble controlling his urges to kill he will get rid of the suit. What I’m exited for is the appearance of Venom, who is Eddie Brock. Spider Man or should i say Peter Parker was about to loose Marry Jane and Eddie Brock had a thing for her. So both Spider Man and Peter Parker would drive Eddie Brock to become Venom.

Another really cool enemy of Spider Man would have to be Carnage who a spawn from Venom (crazy alien asexual’s). This is were we will see Venom team up with Spider man for the common good.
