Yes, Its just unfortunate that so much ground was lost in this transition. In the long run it should help with the PDT community. Aptana is not the sole developer so they will need to work to a new model and plan.

It will be interesting to see how many features make the cut.

In the long term, having one PHP plugin for Eclipse is essential for its’ maturity and for developing a community around it. Much like JDT.
