Cedar Waxwing’s are Back

Posted in: Photography on February 26th, 2009

img_2176 You can tell spring is (hopefully) on its way when the Cedar Waxwings are out. I went for a walk at lunch and saw the swarms of these birds earing up all the frozen berry’s in the river valley. They move in great numbers like a school of fish. If you silent you can hear the great numbers flapping, chirping, berry’s falling and branches snapping. they are actually quite noisy.
