I recently “updated” my gallery thinking all would be simple and painless. Turns out the WPG2 script used to embed Gallery2 inside WordPress is behind on the versions they support, so me thinking that you know some bugs have been causing me some issues in the gallery this update should fix them and all would be sublime. Yea. Everything exploded errors all over the place. deleted files, uploaded same thing. Updated WPG2 to the current beta to see if that would work NOTHING.

Every time i upload Gallery 2 it takes a long time. its 34mb of small files. after messing around with some other gallery’s involving flicker that didn’t seam to work for me i finally got Gallery2 installed and working, now i have to add everything all over agian.

I still like the look the the Flickr gallery called Falbum but it would requre me to pay for a Flickr Pro account, its not to much money im just not sure i like the Falbum program that wont seam to work the way in says,

Other gallery scripts have the features i like (comments, feeds and so on) but the templates they use are ridiculous and full of legacy code that doesn’t even work.

For now I’m making due with SlideShow Pro, Until i get Gallery2 back up and WPG2 supports the new version.
