Over the weekend I went to Calaway Park in Calgary. Now I’m not a big ride guy. In fact I down right didn’t want to go, but Kristi being the supportive wife she is offered up just the right amount of mockery to make me get on some of the dreaded rides. I told her I don’t like spinning of swinging. First ride up… the Tornado. Yea I handled the spinning and the rising and falling for as long as the ride lasted. Had a seat in the shade. Then went on to the boat ride (it’s a big swing) that almost put me over the edge I was feeling sick for the rest of the day. She went on the Storm and I held strong to the ground I watched her go around at a blazing speed then the ride takes a 90 degree turn for the sky now every one is going up-side down! That was a crazy ride. as for the rest of the day I made up for my weakness by winning the carry games and then the cherry on top was the rollercoaster with 2 barrel roles. That was actually kind of fun the first time. The second time was unnecessary!
